For over 30 years, Y’llon Herron has been a distinguished leader in the commercial insurance industry.  She is the recipient of the 2021 Women of Professional Excellence Award from the YWCA and a member of the APCIA 2022 class of Emerging Leaders.  During her tenured career, Y’llon has served in several executive leadership positions with two national carriers in the insurance industry.  Today she has taken her talents to Westfield Insurance Group where she leads Small Business Underwriting.  Westfield Small Business leverages strong agency relationships, data, technology, and a customer centric culture to deliver Westfield Small Business offerings.

Driven by her passion to lift as she climbs, Y’llon is an advocate for professional development, helping individuals move their careers and businesses forward.  She is a graduate of Illinois State University and recently relocated to the Ohio area.  When not keeping busy with her two teenage children, Y’llon enjoys traveling, crafting and completing DIY projects.
